We designed and commissioned a complete alarm system for the ship, from engine room to bridge. In 2017 the Rio Solis 1 ship was rebuilt, and its engine room modernized.

We were in charge of the design of the alarm system to monitor the main engine and the generating plant composed of 4 auxiliary engines.

The system monitors operating parameters such as oil pressure and temperature, water pressure and temperatures, bilge levels, power system failures (DC and AC). This project was based on PLC modules designed by Kalil S.A., in conjunction with Cermate HMIs.
